Le Domaine de l’Argentière est une propriété familiale depuis quatre générations. Longtemps tourné vers la polyculture : vignes, fruitiers et maraîchage, il s’inscrit dans l’histoire agricole de la région.
Au début des années 1990, mon père choisit de développer la viticulture, guidé par un intérêt croissant pour la culture de la vigne. En 2006, l’ensemble du domaine est converti à l’agriculture biologique, avec une certification obtenue en 2009. Les raisins sont vendus sur pieds ou apportés en cave coopérative.
En 2019, mon frère rejoint l’aventure familiale et insuffle un nouvel élan au domaine.
En 2022, après plusieurs vendanges aux quatre coins du monde et une expérience de quatre ans dans le haut Languedoc en tant que responsable technique nous décidons avec Johan mon compagnon de venir nous installer à Visan.
Ensemble nous sélectionnons quelques hectares pour se lancer dans une grande aventure, la création des premières cuvées. A notre image, nous nous inspirons de la nature pour créer des vins vivants tout en fraicheur et sans artifices.
Domaine de l’Argentiere has been a family-owned estate for four generations. For many years, it was dedicated to mixed farming, vineyards, fruit trees, and market gardening deeply rooted in the agricultural history of the region.
In the early 1990s, my father chose to focus on viticulture, driven by a growing interest in vine growing. In 2006, the entire estate was converted to organic farming, with certification obtained in 2009. The grapes were sold on the vine or delivered to a cooperative winery.
In 2019, my brother joined the family venture, bringing fresh energy to the estate.
In 2022, after several harvests around the world and four years of experience as a technical manager in the Haut Languedoc, Johan my partner and I decided to settle in Visan.
Together, we selected a few hectares to embark on a great adventure: the creation of our first cuvées. Reflecting who we are, we draw inspiration from nature to craft living wines, fresh, vibrant, and free from artifice.
